The space between colour and silence

My work on paper begins with a deep need: to observe. I am fascinated by emotions, by the ways we express them and the ways we hold them back. I keep searching for balance. For me it comes from awareness and acceptance, and I don't always manage to stay there. So I work through it on paper: what we feel and don't, what we do and don't. I believe that accepted emotions are what connect us most. Here, between colour and silence, there is space to stop, look, and find something of yourself.
