EN: Before the camera, there was the body. Before the edit, there was the question.
Resistance was a multimedia art exhibition combining video, photography, and painting — exploring what keeps us from being honest with ourselves and each other. The masks we wear for approval. The wars we fight inside before we fight them outside.
The exhibition used video, photography, and painting as tools for visual communication — investigating how humans struggle to express themselves, their reality, their truth. From the individual to the collective, we carry inherited memories, unresolved dramas passed down through generations — often without knowing, projected silently into our present.
Who's your enemy? The one outside, or the one within?
IT: Prima della telecamera, c'era il corpo. Prima del montaggio, c'era la domanda.
Resistenza era una mostra d'arte multimediale che univa video, fotografia e pittura — esplorando ciò che ci impedisce di essere onesti con noi stessi e con gli altri. Le maschere che indossiamo per ottenere approvazione. Le guerre che combattiamo dentro prima di combatterle fuori.
La mostra utilizzava video, fotografia e pittura come strumenti di comunicazione visiva — indagando le difficoltà dell'essere umano nel comunicare sé stesso, la propria realtà, la propria verità. Dal singolo al collettivo, portiamo memorie ereditate, drammi tramandati di generazione in generazione — spesso senza saperlo, proiettandoli inconsciamente nel presente.
Chi è il tuo nemico? Quello fuori, o quello dentro di noi?
Photography — Belonging
EN: We are the result of how others have shaped us. We need to belong — the fear of exclusion threatens our very survival. That fear leads us to wear masks, to stop being honest, and to lose the ability to truly connect — in relationships, at work, in family, in friendship.
IT: Siamo il risultato di come gli altri ci hanno creato. Abbiamo bisogno di appartenere — la paura dell'esclusione mette a rischio la nostra sopravvivenza. Questa paura ci porta a indossare maschere, a smettere di essere onesti, e a perdere la capacità di connetterci davvero — nelle relazioni, nel lavoro, in famiglia, nell'amicizia.

EN: The need to release what's held inside. The fear of judgment that makes us hold it in — until one day, we can't anymore. The mask we choose to wear gives us approval. But approval is not always love.
IT: La voglia di buttare fuori quello che sta dentro. La paura del giudizio che ci fa trattenere — fino a quando un giorno non riusciamo a farlo. La maschera che scegliamo ci dà approvazione. Ma l'approvazione non è sempre amore.
Resistance was the beginning. The same questions live in every story I tell. Resistenza era l'inizio. Le stesse domande vivono in ogni storia che racconto.
Video — Who's Your Enemy?
EN: We live in a society that rewards productive intelligence over emotional intelligence. The world is at war — but the real war begins inside. Are you able to connect honestly with your emotions?
IT: Viviamo in una società che premia l'intelligenza produttiva a discapito di quella emotiva. Il mondo è in guerra — ma la vera guerra ha origine dentro di noi. Sei capace di connetterti onestamente con le tue emozioni?
